Best for...
Boys from age three through 10 love to pretend they're a knight in shining armor. Donning a knight's costume, preparing to slay dragons, or feasting at the king's castle will be an exciting adventure for boys and girls alike.
Party Planning
For peace of mind, begin planning your knight birthday party bash six to eight weeks in advance. This will allow you time to gather all the supplies that you need, including knight party decorations, gifts, and menu items. Planning ahead also gives your guests time to RSVP and make travel plans, if needed. Don't panic if you find yourself short on time; you can still plan a great party! Planning ahead simply reduces the risk of conflicts with guests' plans and may increase your party’s attendance.

What You’ll Need
If you plan to use paper tableware and themed party supplies, our Suggested Party Supply List may be quite helpful. Please note that you may not need everything on the list; it is intended only as a guide.
Knight Party Invitations
Use cream-colored paper to create invitations to your royal knight ball. If your computer has a calligraphy font, use it for your invites. If not, simply write them out in royal verbiage. “Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Knight John is celebrating his fifth birthday. We hereby invite you to the knight’s banquet and tournament, which will be held in the royal castle.” Be sure to list the time, address, and an RSVP number, then roll up the paper like a traditional scroll and tie with a piece of ribbon. If you need to mail the invitations, you can fold and seal them with a bit of hot wax. Or, if you’re short on time, you can purchase pre-printed or personalized knights birthday invitations online. We recommend mailing your invitations three to four weeks prior to the party—any sooner and your guests may forget, any later and your guests may already have plans.
Knight Party Favors
Send all the knights in shining armor home with goodie bags filled with dragon figures, knight and dragon stickers and tattoos, blow-up sword and shield sets, gold chocolate coins, and other knight party favors. Place all items inside clear or metallic (gold or silver) cellophane bags.
