Best For:

Boys ages four through 10 will love this jedi party!

Party Planning

For peace of mind, begin planning your bash six to eight weeks in advance. This will allow you time to gather all the supplies that you need, including Star Wars party decorations, gifts, and menu items. Planning ahead also gives your guests time to RSVP and make travel plans, if needed. Don't panic if you find yourself short on time; you can still plan a great party! Planning ahead simply reduces the risk of conflicts with guests' plans and may increase your darth vader party’s attendance.

Homemade jedi party invitations can be made from card stock or construction paper. Simply fold the sheet in half like a card, then fold both of those pieces in half to create your own invitation cards. You should get four cards from each full sheet. Feel free to paste on any interesting jedi-themed cutouts. Inside, write the time, place, and RSVP information. Or, if you’re short on time, purchase personalized or pre-printed Star Wars birthday invitations online. We recommend mailing your invitations three to four weeks prior to the party—any sooner and your guests may forget, any later and your guests may already have plans.

What You’ll Need

If you plan to use paper tableware and Star Wars party supplies, our Suggested Party Supply List may be quite helpful. Please note that you may not need everything on the list; it is intended only as a guide.

For this party, colors such as blue, orange and green are ideal. Balloons and streamers in these colors will look great!

For goodie bags, purchase space stickers, light sabers, bouncing balls, and assorted candies. Place these Star Wars party favors inside clear or printed cellophane bags and tie with blue or green chenille sticks or ribbon. Or just purchase a ready-made Star Wars party favor set.
