Little Einstein Birthday Party Planning

For peace of mind, begin planning your Little Einsteins party six to eight weeks in advance. Start by choosing a location for your party. You can throw your classic Little Einsteins birthday party at home (and we'll give you lots of great ideas for decorations), or you could choose an adventurous location that fits the theme, such as a nature conservatory, planetarium, or aquarium. Or, play to your child’s intellectual side by holding the party at a museum.

Once you've decided on a location, it's time to gather all the supplies that you need, including Little Einsteins party decorations, gifts, and menu items. Planning ahead also gives your guests time to RSVP and make travel plans, if needed. Don't panic if you find yourself short on time; you can still plan a great party! Planning ahead simply reduces the risk of conflicts with guests' plans and may increase your party’s attendance.

Little Einsteins Party Invitations

What better way to get in the party spirit than with homemade Little Einsteins birthday party invitations? Here are some creative ideas for making them:

  • Cut the shape of Rocket, the Little Einsteins’ transformable spacecraft, out of red construction paper and draw on the details, such as the cockpit windows, in black marker. Paste stickers in the shape of the characters in the windows. Write your party details on the spacecraft’s body.

  • Print out a picture of Leo, June, Quincy, and Annie and paste it to the bottom of yellow or green cardstock. Write the party details above the picture.

  • Separate a section of cardstock into four boxes and draw a different scene in each box (for example, a park scene in one box, a city scene in another, etc.). Paste a sticker of one of the four main characters in each box.

  • Attach a card-style invitation to a small paintbrush or toy instrument and mail your invitations in padded envelopes.

  • Include creative wording for your party details, such as:

We’ve got a mission, we’re on the case,
We must put a smile on [birthday child]’s face!
    Let’s throw [him/her] a big party for [his/her] birthday,
With cake and crafts and games to play!

Little Einstein Party Supplies and Favors

If you plan to use paper tableware, our Suggested Party Supply List may be quite helpful. Please note that you may not need everything on the list; it is intended only as a guide.

In addition to the basic party supplies (paper tableware, a tablecloth, streamers, and balloons) you may also want to consider renting or purchasing the Little Einsteins movie, “Our Big Huge Adventure” or CD, “Musical Missions”.

Send your Little Einstein party guests home happy with some fun-filled goodie bags. Fill them with Little Einstein's party favors, such as the Little Einsteins DVD, a set of paint brushes and paints, or a collection of postcards of famous artwork.
