Get creative animal party ideas to throw the best kid's animal party ever!
- Brings the world of animals to your child's birthday party. These animals birthday party ideas -- including a dog party, party cat, farm animals party and jungle animals party -- will turn all your guests into party animals.
Party Planning
For peace of mind, begin planning your bash six to eight weeks in advance. This will allow you time to gather all the supplies that you need, including animal party decorations (dog party decorations, farm animals decorations, etc...), gifts, and menu items. Planning ahead also gives your guests time to RSVP and make travel plans, if needed. Don't panic if you find yourself short on time; you can still plan a great party! Planning ahead simply reduces the risk of conflicts with guests' plans and may increase your party’s attendance.
Supplies and Favors
If you plan to use paper tableware and animal party supplies for your themed party, such as dog party supplies, farm animal party supplies, barnyard party animals, etc.. our Suggested Party Supply List may be quite helpful. Please note that you may not need everything on the list; it is intended only as a guide.
For animal party favors, look for animal-themed print or cellophane bags. Fill them with small plastic animals, animal crackers, animal stickers and temporary tattoos, plastic monkeys from a Barrel of Monkeys, Pez candies with animal heads, and animal-themed candies. Many of these animal party favors are available from Birthday in a Box.
Animal Party Games and Activities
Keep your animals birthday party guests engaged with games such as Hippos in Mud, Kangaroo Hop Races and Elephant Tug of War. You can play inside or outside, although outside is preferable for Elephant Tug of War. If the children are very young, they will still enjoy watching the adults play. And, they’ll have a wild time playing our Tell Me If I’m Wrong game, where an adult leader shouts out animal names and the kids let the leader know if he or she makes a mistake - on purpose, of course! The result? The game gets louder (and more fun!) as the mistakes get sillier. For crafts, make a Lion Face. Plus, kids will love eating a jungle cake!
