Crafts to Make

Make our adorable Love Bugs Hat to wear to the party. Have an area set up so children can start assembling their hats as they arrive. Another cute project is our Coffee Filter Butterfly which makes a wonderful take-home gift!

Print out some of our spring coloring pages or puzzles. Hand them to guests as they arrive and ask them to help decorate for the party by coloring the pages. When they finish, hang the pages on the walls for display.

Fresh fruit with a tasty yogurt dip is always a favorite, and the more colors the better. A nice assortment of sliced strawberries, orange wedges, green and purple grapes and banana chunks arranged around a small bowl of pink yogurt dip is quite festive.

For the sweet tooth, make cupcakes decorated with colored frosting. Use white frosting tinted with different food colorings, then use decorator gel to draw on simple flowers, lady bugs, butterflies or a bright yellow sunshine. Make flower and butterfly cookies from sugar cookie dough and flower- and butterfly-shaped cookie cutters, decorated with colored sugar or frosting.
